O Globo de Ouro anunciou, nesta segunda-feira (8), que “O Agente Secreto” está indicado em três categorias de sua 83ª edição -melhor filme de drama, melhor filme em língua estrangeira e melhor ator, para Wagner Moura. É a primeira vez que uma produção do Brasil entra na categoria principal.
Na categoria de filme de drama, a produção de Kleber Mendonça Filho disputará o troféu com “Frankenstein”, “Hamnet”, “Pecadores”, “Foi Apenas Um Acidente” e “Valor Sentimental”. Os dois últimso são ainda seus principais adversários em filme em língua estrangeira, e representam França e Noruega, respectivamente.
Além deles, integram a lista os candidatos da Espanha, “Sirât”, da Tunísia, “The Voice of Hind Rajab”, e da Coreia do Sul, “No Other Choice”. O coreano também aparece entre os indicados a melhor filme de comédia ou musical.
Comandado pelos atores Marlon Wayans e Skye P. Marshall, o anúncio também contemplou indicados aos prêmios de televisão e streaming. Marcado para o dia 11 de janeiro, o Globo de Ouro repete a anfitriã do ano passado, Nikki Glaser, comediante que foi uma grata surpresa da cerimônia.
